Abstract
The coronavirus that is the etiology of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19)belongs to the betacoronavirus genus. The nursing problem that arises in patients with Coronavirus Disease 2019 is impaired gas exchange. The purpose of this study was to determinethe nursing care of gas exchange disorders in Mr. E with Coronavirus disease 2019 in the Nusa Indah Isolation Room of Sanglah Hospital in 2021 including data from the results of nursing assessments up to the results of the nursing evaluation in the Nusa Indah Isolation room of Sanglah Hospital in 2021. The results of the study found that in the nursing assessment, the patient complained of severe shortness of breath, the patient also complained dizziness,Patient looks restless, additional breath sounds are heard, sounds restless, appears diaphoretic, abnormal breathing pattern (rapid and shallow), Blood Gas Analysis results: pH : 7.30, pCO2 : 50 0.0 mmHg, pO2 : 76.00 mmHg, HCO3-: 27.40 mmol/L,TTV: Nadi : 102x/minute, Temperature : 37.9 C, Blood pressure : 140/80 mmHg, Breathing : 24x/minute Spo2 : 76%. The nursing diagnosis formulated is Impaired gas exchange related to changes in the alveolar-capillary membrane.Nursing evaluation shows that the goalshave been achieved as evidenced by the achievement of all the outcomes that have been set. Giving this prone position can be an intervention used to overcome gas exchange disorders in patients with 2019 Coronavirus Disease.
