Abstract

DIFFERENCES IN LABOR NUTRITIONAL STATUS BASED ON ENERGY AND MACRO NUTRIENTS CONTRIBUTION IN THE FOOD SERVICES AT MELIA BALI HOTEL ABSTRACT Determination of the nutritional status of labor related to the consumption of food obtained in an institution / company. The provision of labor food greatly affects the nutritional fulfillment of workers during work. Good nutritional intake and a combination of physical activity performed by workers will produce workers with resilience, health and good nutritional status. The purpose of the research is to find out the difference in the nutritional status of labor based on the contribution of energy and macro nutrients in the implementation of food at Melia Bali Hotel. The type of research used is observational with cross-sectionaldesign. The research site at Hotel Melia Bali in February-March 2021 with a sample number of 66 people. Sample nutrition status data collected with weight and height data, energy contribution and macro nutrients obtained using google form assisted by Recall method 2x24 hours then processed using nutri program 2008. The data was analyzed using independent t-test. The results obtained 60.61% of samples have normal nutritional status. There is a difference in the nutritional status of labor based on energy intake (p= 0.039), there is a difference in the nutritional status of labor based on carbohydrate intake (p= 0.027), there is a difference in the nutritional status of labor based on protein intake (p= 0.011) and there is a difference in the nutritional status of labor based on fat intake in the implementation of food at Melia Hotel Bali (p = 0.045) Keywords: Nutritional status of labor, contribution of energy and macro nutrients, food maintenance
