Abstract

Pregnancy, labor, puerperium, and newborns are natural processes experienced by every woman. Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) is one indicator to see the success of maternal health efforts. Midwives can provide continuity of care (COC) that can detect and prevent complications that can occur early. In the case of the Mother TD there were complications late in her pregnancy. This case report aimed to know the implementations of midwifery care that given to pregnant woman from 31 weeks gestations, labor, puerperium, and newborn. The method that used in this study was case report with data collection technique thought interview, observation, examination, and documentation. When the mother’s gestational age enters 42 weeks, she is diagnosed with serotinus grade III placental calcification and no signs of labor. The delivery process carried out by means of a caesarean section to reduce the occurrence of complications to the mother and baby. During the puerperium wasn’t found danger sign on and complications. Midwifery care in infants is not according to standard because breast crawl is not done when a newborn baby. Neonates until the baby is is 42 days was physiologically. Midwives were expected to provide midwifer care according to the standard so that can prevent problems and complications during pregnancy, labor, puerperium, and baby.
