Abstract
Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) and Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) are indicators of health status in an area and are one of the components of the development index and quality of life index. This case report aims to determine the result of midwifery care given to Mrs, “E” from 38 weeks 6 days of pregnancy until 42 days postpartum. The research method was case study, with data collection technique through interview, examination, observation and documentation. The midwifery care start from the 23 of March to 9 of May 2021. Midwifery care of pregnancy lasts physiologically at gestational ages 40 weeks 1 day. Midwifery care in labor the first stage lasted in 4 hours, the second stage in 30 minutes, the third stage of labor in 5 minutes and the monitoring at the fourth stage was normal. The baby was born spontaneously, crying loudly and have very active motion, the baby was a girl and the weight was 3000 grams. The process of involution uterus, the discharge of lochea and lactation during the postpartum was normal. The baby conditon of Mrs. E” from birth to 42 days was in healthy state and has an increase was weight of 850 grams. It can be concluded that the development of the Mrs “E” pregnancy until postpartum were physiological.
