Abstract

THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN NUTRITIONAL KNOWLEDGE AND MACRO NUTRIENT CONSUMPTION WITH NUTRITIONAL STATUS OF STUDENTS IN SMK KESEHATAN BALI DEWATA DENPASAR ABSTRACT In adolescence there are many changes that can take place quickly such as physical, cognitive, and psychosocial growth or behavior. Nutritional problems that can occur in adolescence are anemia, malnutrition, more nutrition and obesity. The purpose of this study is to find out the relationship of nutritional knowledge, consumption of macro nutrients and nutritional status of students at SMK Kesehatan Bali Dewata Denpasar. Data collection was carried out online using google form and softcopy. Type of observational research with cross sectional design. The samples used were teenagers aged 16 to 18 years who numbered 75 people. The study used an analysis of Pearson's Product Moment correlation statistical test. Based on the results of the data analysis obtained results that most of the knowledge of nutrition (46.67%) sufficient. Most carbohydrate consumption deficit weight level (66.67%), as much as (72%) protein consumption deficit, and as much as (37.33%) consumption of fat deficit weight level. Most nutritional status (77.33%) is good. The results showed that there was no significant association between nutritional knowledge and nutritional status. There is a significant association between the consumption of macro nutrients (carbohydrates, proteins, fats) and nutritional status.
