Abstract
ANXIETY NURSING CARE IN PATIENTS WITH PRE OPERATIVE HERNIATOMY IN THE SANJIWANI GIANYAR HOSPITAL CENTRAL SURGICAL ON 2021 ABSTRACT Hernia is a problem that can be found in surgical cases. One of the handling of hernia cases is with surgical procedures, the psychological impact on patients who experience pre herniatomy surgery is anxiety. This study aims to determine the anxiety nursing care in patients who have pre-operative herniatomy by providing deep slow breathing relaxation techniques. This study used a descriptive research type with a case study approach to two subjects at the Central Surgical of Sanjiwani Gianyar Hospital.The results of research at the assessment stage carried out through observation, researcher documentation obtained subjective data results, namely the subject said he was worried about the operation. While the results of the objective data are the subject looks restless, looks tense, has difficulty controlling emotions, looks pale, poor eye contact. Based on the assessment data, the diagnosis that can be formulated on both subjects is anxiety. The action taken is the provision of deep slow breathing relaxation techniques.The evaluation obtained after being given nursing care for 1x15 minutes, the problem of nursing anxiety was resolved. The conclusion that can be drawn is that deep slow breathing relaxation techniques is effective in reducing anxiety in preoperative patients.
