Abstract
A DESCRIPTION OF THE PREPARATION STAGE FOR THE LABOR OF PREGNANT WOMEN DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC IN THE WORK AREA OF THE SUKAWATI II PUBLIC HEALTH CENTER IN 2021 ABSTRACT Pregnant women need to know about preparation for childbirth, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic to prevent the bad effects of Covid-19 transmission. COVID-19 pandemic is a problem for pregnant women who are about to give birth, because they have a high risk of transmission to both the mother and the fetus, so the purpose of this study to description of the preparation of childbirth for pregnant women during the COVID-19 pandemic in Puskesmas Sukawati II. This type of research used in this research is quantitative descriptive study using a single variable. The population in this study were pregnant women in the Puskesmas Sukawati II, amounting to 132 pregnant women in the third trimester with a sample of 99 respondents using purposive sampling technique. The research instrument was a questionnaire distributed online by using a Likert scale with five answer options. The results of the research on the level of preparation for labor in the third trimester of pregnant women, most of them already had good category preparations, namely as many as 90 people (90.9%), from the height of pregnant women with a good category it is expected that pregnant women will deliver in future pandemic Covid-19 run in accordance with the correct medical protocols.
