Abstract
Hypertension is one of cardiovascular disease with the number one cause of death globally every year. It is estimated that nearly one billion people suffer from hypertension worldwide and will be increased as much as 1.56 billion in 2025. Although the drugs are effective hypertension already widely available, but the compliance control in patients with hypertension has not been adequate. This is due to lack of knowledge, lack of education and lack of motivation of people with hypertension to treatment. The purpose of this study is to describe the nursing care nursing problems of hypertension with poor adherence to the treatment regimen in the UPT Kesmas I Sukawati, Gianyar. This type of research is descriptive research with case study design to two clients. Methods of data collection through interviews, observation, and documentation are carried out on 27-29 April 2018 in Banjar Manyar, Ketewel Village, District Sukawati. The results showed that both of client had performed the treatment regimen as recommended and found a decrease of blood pressure on the clients. Ny.M during the first visit of her blood pressure, which was 160/100 mmHg and at the last visit her blood pressure 140/90 mmHg. Ny.N during the first visit of her blood pressure, which was 150/100 mmHg and at the last visit her blood pressure 140/90 mmHg. Sugesstions are expected to keep the clients medications compliance.
