Abstract
The annual incidence of shock was based on various causes around o.3 to 0.7 per 1000, where the most common cause in emergency room was hemorrhagic shock. Hemorrhagic shock is a condition of hivopolemic shock caused by loss of blood or fluids (Taghavi and Askari, 2019). In 2020, the emergecy room of Sanjiwani Hospital received 14 patients with hypovolemic shock and this number ranks second most cases in 2020. The aim of this study is to analyze the application of passive leg raising (PLR) position in patient with hypovolemic shock to increase blood pressure in emergency room of RSUD Sanjiwani Gianyar. This PLR position is given for 2 minutes by raising the leg 45 degrees and the position of the head and body lying straight. From the case analysis in patient who had hypovolemic shock, it was found that there was an increase in systolic and diastolic blood pressure. This study is expected to be one of the nursing intervention that can be done in the treatment of patients with hypovolemic shock.
