Abstract
DESCRIPTION OF SELF-EFFICACY IN PATIENTS WITH TYPE 2 DIABETES MELLITUS IN RSUD SANJIWANI GIANYAR IN 2021 ABSTRACT DM management takes a long time, so it requires behavior change. One of the key factors in achieving behavior change is self-efficacy. This study aims to determine the description of self-efficacy in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus in Sanjiwani Hospital, Gianyar. The type of research used was descriptive and cross-sectional research design. The sample used in this study were 37 respondents. The instrument used is the Diabetes Management Self-Efficacy Scale (DMSES). The results showed that from 37 respondents based on age who had sufficient self-efficacy as many as 8 people (21.60%), based on gender, namely female patients as many as 13 people (35.1%) had good self-efficacy, based on education, namely undergraduate education as many as 4 people (10.80%) have good self-efficacy, based on the work of civil servants and private / self-employed as many as 6 people (16.02%) have sufficient self-efficacy, based on self-efficacy in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients who have efficacy enough self-efficacy as many as 22 people (59.5%) and good self-efficacy as many as 13 people (35.1%).
