Abstract
Tuberculosis (TB) is globally classified as a "Global Public Health Emergency"and has become a health problem for millions of people in the world.Tuberculosis is a contagious infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis which mostly attacks the lungs. Symptoms that often appear are cough, there is sputum in the airway, ronchi breath sounds, and the patient complains of shortness of breath so that the nursing diagnosis that usually appears and is often formulated as a priority for nursing diagnosis is ineffective airway clearance. The purpose of this final scientific paper is to find out nursing care for pulmonary tuberculosis patients with ineffective airway clearance problems in the Mahotama Room, Sanglah Hospital, Denpasar. The results of the study obtained major data in this study, namely the presence of an ineffective cough and wheezing breath sounds. Then formulated the nursing problem of ineffective airway clearance. The nursing planning provided has been documented, the implementation uses formative evaluation with the results of the patient's evaluation saying that they are more comfortable, have reduced shortness ofbreath,cough is still there,and can remove mucus The act of teaching effective coughing can help facilitate sputum production because effective coughing can produce maximum and abundant sputum and can clear the respiratory tract that was previously blocked by sputum.
