Abstract
PREVENTION OF MOTHER-TO-BABY TRANSMISSION BY UTILIZING PROGRAM FOR THE PREVENTION OF INFECTION FROM MOTHER TO CHILD ABSTRACT Maternal-to-Child Infection Prevention Program is very important for pregnant women to reduce the risk of vertical transmission of infection from mother to baby. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women about prevention of mother-to-child transmission of HIV with program utilization. This research was conducted at UPTD.Puskesmas Mengwi II in April-May 2021. This type of research is correlative analytic, where the sample size is 75 respondents with purposive sampling method. The measuring instrument used is a questionnaire. The results of this study indicate that most of the respondents with a low level of knowledge were 56 respondents (74.7%). Most of the respondents' attitudes showed negative attitudes 42 respondents (56%). The relationship between knowledge and attitude and program utilization is very strong with a correlation value of 0.750 Keywords : Knowledge, Attitudes, Program Utilization
