Abstract
The Overview Of Mother’s Knowledge Level In Handling Toddler’s Fever At Working Area Of Puskesmas Kediri III In 2021 ABSTRACT Fever is a disorder that often occurs in infants or children. A child is said to have a fever if the child's body temperature is more than 37 ℃. Fever in children is very dependent on the role of parents, especially mothers. The level of knowledge of mothers about fever in Indonesia also varies widely considering that this is influenced by many factors. The purpose of this study was to describe the level of maternal knowledge about the handling of fever in children under five in the working area of the Kediri III Public Health Center. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative research. The research data collection was carried out on 75 respondents in the working area of Puskesmas Kediri III with a total sample of 75 respondents. The time of the research was carried out from January to April 2021. The data collection of this research was by conducting a survey and then the respondents filled out a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive analysis. The results of the study were that of 75 respondents, the level of maternal knowledge about handling fever in children under five could be categorized as follows: either 50 respondents (66.7%), quite 22 respondents (29.3%), and less 3 respondents (4.0%). ). It can be illustrated that 66.7% of mothers have knowledge about handling fever in children under five in the working area of Puskemas Kediri III with a good category Keywords: Mother's knowledge; Fever Handler; Toddler
