Abstract

Pneumonia is an acute inflammatory disease of the lung parenchyma which is usually from an acute lower respiratory tract infection with cough and is accompanied by shortness of breath due to infectious agents such as viruses, bacteria, mycoplasma (fungi), and aspiration of foreign substances, in the form of pneumonia accompanied by inflammation of the lungs. exudation and consolidation. The aim of describing the patient characteristics of ineffective airway clearance in pneumonia patients and identifying observational, therapeutic, educational, collaborative airway clearance in patients with pneumomnia at RSUD Klungkung. This type of research is a quantitative study using a descriptive design with a total of 48 respondents when the study started from March-April 2021. This study used non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling method. The results obtained were respondents based on gender, namely women at 54.2%, respondents based on age 36-45 years at 47.9%, the range of nursing actions in the observation component monitoring oxygen saturation was carried out up to 85%, the range of nursing actions on the components. Therapeutic is to set the semi-fowler position to 100%, the range of nursing actions to the information education component of the monitoring results carried out to 85%, the range of nursing actions to the collaboration component of mucolytic or expectorant administration, which is carried out up to 68.8%.
