Abstract
THE CORRELATION BETWEEN THE USE OF MOTHER AND CHILD HEALTH AND WELLBEING BOOK AND THE REGULARITY OF THIRD TRIMESTER ANTENATAL CARE VISIT DURING COVID-19 PANDEMIC ABSTRACT Regularity of pregnant women in antenatal care has an effect on early detection of high-risk pregnant women. With a limitation on the duration of the examination, it is hoped that the mother will get information from various media including maternal and child health books. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the use of maternal and child health books with regular check-up visits for pregnant women in the third trimester during the Covid-19 pandemic in the working area of the UPTD Puskesmas Dawan II. This research uses correlation analysis method with cross sectional approach. The sample size was 30 trimester III pregnant women with consecutive sampling technique. This research was conducted in April 2021. The data were analyzed using Rank Spearman analysis. The analysis results obtained p value = 0.428. Because the p value> 0.05 indicates that there is no relationship between the use of maternal and child health books with regular check-up visits for pregnant women in the third trimester during the Covid-19 pandemic in the UPTD work area of the Dawan II Public Health Center. The regularity of pregnant women doing examinations both before and after the pandemic has nothing to do with the use of maternal and child health books. It is hoped that this research can be used as an evaluation material in providing services by using maternal and child health books as a promotional medium and increasing maternal knowledge about the regularity of pregnancy examinations during the pandemic.
