Abstract
DESCRIPTION OF HYPERTHERMIA MANAGEMENT IN DENGUE HEMORRHAGIC FEVER PATIENTS AT RSUD SANJIWANI GIANYAR IN 2021 ABSTRACT Dengue hemorrhagic fever is an infection caused by the dengue virus which is transmitted from the Aedes Spp mosquito which is found in the tropic and sub-tropic regions. The most common clinical symptom is hyperthermia which can lead to dehydration to shock, so it is necessary to hyperthermia management. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of handling hyperthermia cases of dengue hemorrhagic fever in the components of observation, therapeutic, education and collaboration. This research is a descriptive study with a quantitative approach. The sampling method in this study is to use consecutive sampling. This research was conducted in February - March 2021 in the Yudistira Room of RSUD Sanjiwani Gianyar with a total sample of 57 respondents. The result of this research is that the observation component of monitoring skin color and temperature is rarely done (7%), in the therapeutic component, almost all therapeutic measures have not reached 100%, in the education component, only 33.3% received education and only the collaboration component was carried out perfectly (100%). It is recommended that the nurse administrators apply the four components of nursing action to help the patient hal comprehensively.
