Abstract
DESCRIPTION OF KNOWLEDGE LEVEL OF CLEAN AND HEALTHY LIFE BEHAVIOR TO PREVENT THYPOID FEVER OF CHILDREN AT UPT PUBLIC HEALTH CENTER DAWAN II IN 2021 ABSTARCT Thypoid fever is a bacterial infectious disease that attacks the human digestive system caused by salmonella thyphi which transmitted through food in a poorly hygiene environment. This is due to the lack of knowledge level of children about Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS). The purpose of this study is find out the level of knowledge level of clean and healthy living behavior to prevent thypoid fever in children in UPTPublic Health Center Dawan II. This research uses quantitative research method with descriptive research design. Cross sectional approach model and sampling technique using Non-probability technique with purposive sampling. The number of samples used was 32 respondents. Data is collected using questionnaires offline by complying with health protocols and analyzed descriptively using SPSS programs. The results showed that the majority of children have sufficient knowledge about clean and healthy living behaviors to prevent thypoid fever, namely many as 20 respondents (62.5%), less knowledge much as 1 respondent (3.1%), good knowledge many as 11 respondents (34.4%). So it is hoped that it can provide understanding to children to be able to familiarize and cultivate a clean and healthy lifestyle to prevent typhoid fever.
