Abstract
DESCRIPTION OF MOM'S LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE ABOUT HANDLING HYPERTERMIA IN CHILDREN DHF IN BANJAR TAMAN TEMPEK PALEKAN PUSKESMAS SUKAWATI II YEAR 2021 ABSTRACT The incidence rate of DHF in Bali Province is 22.4 per 100,000 population. There are 4 districts / cities with high dengue fever, such as Badung regency, Denpasar city, Buleleng regency and Gianyar regency. In 2015 in Gianyar district, there were 2,198 cases. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of maternal knowledge about the treatment of Hyperthermia in Dhf children. This research uses descriptive quantitative research with cross sectional approach. The number of samples used was 52 people, using probability sampling techniques, namely simple random sampling. The measuring instrument used is a questionnaire. The results of this study showed that out of 52 respondents, most of the respondents aged 31-35 years were 25 people (48.1%), 37 people had high school education (71.1%) and worked as housewives as many as 29 people (55 , 8%). Respondents with good knowledge about handling hyperthermia were 47 people (90.4%), 4 people (7.7%) had sufficient knowledge and 1 person lacked knowledge (1.9%). The average value obtained from 52 respondents is with a score of 88.36 (good), the highest score is with a score of 19 (good), while the lowest score is with a score of 10 (poor) and the highest score is with a score of 20 (good). The conclusion in this study is that most respondents have a good level of knowledge about the treatment of hyperthermia in children with DHF. The results of this study are expected to be used as a source of information for the community in dealing with hyperthermia. Key words: Hyperthermia management, mother's knowledge level
