Abstract

Sopir merupakan pekerjaan yang mengharuskan untuk duduk dalam waktu yang cukup lama sehingga menyebabkan kalsium tulang dilepas ke darah yang dapat memicu timbulnya batu saluran kemih atau yang disingkat BSK. Batu saluran kemih (BSK) merupakan suatu kondisi didapatkannya batu di dalam saluran kemih. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui sedimen urine pada sopir bus di Terminal Mengwi Kabupaten Badung. Jenis penelitian deskriptif. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret sampai Juni 2018. Populasi penelitian adalah sopir bus dengan besar sampel penelitian sebanyak 32 sopir bus yang diambil 25% dari populasi. Teknik sampling yang digunakan yaitu random sampling. Pemeriksaan sedimen urine dilakukan dengan metode slide test. Hasil penelitian, sebanyak 4 (12,5%) responden jumlah eritrosit abnormal, 6 (18,8%) jumlah leukosit abnormal, semua responden (100%) menunjukkan jumlah silinder normal, 10 (31,4%) jumlah epitel abnormal, 5 (15,6%) jumlah bakteri abnormal, dan 15 (46,9%) jumlah kristal kalsium oksalat abnormal. Kesimpulan dari penelitian, pada karakterisitik responden sedimen urine abnormal terbanyak pada responden yang berumur 41-65 tahun, memiliki kebiasaan kurang minum, kebiasaan menahan buang air kemih dan kebiasaan duduk lama saat bekerja. Saran dari penelitian yaitu responden disarankan agar minum air yang cukup, tidak menahan buang air kemih terlalu sering, dan tidak duduk dalam waktu yang lama. Urinary tract stones (UTS) is a condition of obtaining stones in the urinary tract. The aim of this research is to know urine sediment on bus driver at Mengwi Terminal of Badung Regency. This is a descriptive research. The study was conducted in March to June 2018. The study population was bus driver with a large sample of 32 bus drivers taken 25% of the population. The sampling technique used is random sampling. Urine sediment examination is done by slide test method. The results of the study, as many as 4 (12.5%) of respondents abnormal erythrocytes, 6 (18.8%) abnormal leukocyte count, all respondents (100%) showed the number normal value of cylinders, 10 (31.4%) the number of abnormal epithelium, 5 (15.6%) the number of abnormal bacteria, and 15 (46.9%) number of abnormal calcium oxalate crystals. The conclusions of the study, on the characteristics of respondents of abnormal urine sediments most of the respondents aged 41-65 years, have less drinking, urinary bowing and long sitting habits while working. The suggestions for the respondents are drink enough water, do not hold urination too often, and do not sit for a long time.
