Abstract

Triglycerides are deposits of body fat found in the bloodstream. Triglycerides are a source of energy. Increased triglyceride levels can cause increased risk factors for heart disease and stroke. Increased triglyceride levels can also be influenced by several factors, including age, gender, lack of physical activity, the presence of obesity, dietary habits, and genetic factors. This scientific paper involves 35 respondents who worked as tellers and cutomer services at one of the private banks in Buleleng Regency. Of the 35 respondents there were 60.00% who had normal triglyceride levels, while 40.00% had triglyceride levels exceeding the normal limit. Respondents who have normal results are found in the age group <30 years with a period of work <5 years. Whereas respondents who had triglyceride levels exceeding the normal range were in the 30-40 years age group with> 5 years of work. This can conclude that the higher the age and the longer the work can increase the risk factors for increasing triglyceride levels, due to the slight movement when working in the position of tellers and customer service.
