Abstract

Examination of mean corpuscular value and platelet cell is one of the important things in handling pulmonary tuberculosis cases with the aim of supporting hematological analysis in pulmonary tuberculosis patients included by Mycobacterium tuberculosis in the mean corpuscular value and platelets, so it can be asked about the causes that can occur in pulmonary tuberculosis reports. The method in the literature study uses a database (SAGE, NCBI, ResearchGate, NNOVARE, Hindawi, JMSCR) which was sought in early 2010-1019 which consisted of studies that produced journals or research articles that discussed the mean corpuscular value and platelet indices in patients with tuberculosis. The search was performed by keywords mean corpuscular value, platelet cell values, hematology, and pulmonary tuberculosis. This literature study uses 12 journals obtained from the results of journal selection and the results of the dominant in mean corpuscular values are low MCV values, low MCH, low MCHC and dominant platelets is normal platelet values. The results obtained depend on the clinical condition of patients with pulmonary tuberculosis and must be considered at the time of the examination, so that appropriate therapeutic measures can be taken in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis. People with pulmonary tuberculosis are expected to be able to maintain their diet by eating foods that contain vitamins and minerals and keep exercising.
