Abstract
ABSTRACT Behavior is the second largest factor after environmental factors that affect the health of individuals, groups, or communities. Behavior is influenced by three main factors namely predisposing, enabling and reinforcing. Brushing your teeth properly and correctly is done diligently, thoroughly, and regularly. The purpose of this research is to know tooth brushing behavior and predisposing factor, supporting factor and reinforcement factor in grade 4 students and V SDN Awan Kintamani 2018. Type of descriptive research, using total population: 33 students. Result of research: brushing behavior criteria very good as much 8 people, criterion good 6 people, criteria enough 1 person, and criteria need guidance 18 person. Knowledge of most tooth brushing criteria is enough: 10 people, who own 30 toothbrushes, and who are always given directions by their parents to brush teeth 15 people, sometimes 15 people. Conclusions research respondents generally behave brushing with the criteria need guidance. Knowledge of toothbrushing at most categories is sufficient. Most students already have their own toothbrush. Most students are given direction by their parents to brush their teeth Keywords: brushing behavior, predisposing factors, enabling factors, reinforcing factors.
