Abstract
Healthy teeth or oral health is the state of the oral cavity, teeth and structures and supporting tissues, free from disease, pain so that it functions optimally. Dental and oral hygiene that will either make the teeth and surrounding tissues to be healthy. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of knowledge of class IV and V dental and oral hygiene at SDN 2 Kapal Kecamatan Mengwi Year 2018. This study is a descriptive study conducted at SDN 2 Kapal Mengwi Year 2018. The total population of all students is 69 people. The results showed that of the 69 respondents, 46 people (66.67%) had a moderate level of knowledge, 41 people (59.42%) had a value of OHI-S was. The average level of student knowledge is 60.72. The mean value of a student's OHI-S is 1.39. Based on the above results, it can be concluded that students who have a knowledge level with an average of 60.72 and students who have OHI-S with an average of 1.39.
