Abstract
Stroke is the highest cause of death in urban areas which amounted to 15.9% of the proportion of causes of death in Indonesia. Stroke can trigger respiratory failure which is handled with suction technique. The purpose of this research is to know the description of nursing care giving suction technique procedure to overcome the problem of airway clearance is not effective in hemorrhagic stroke patients. This research uses descriptive research and using data collection techniques This research using obsevation guidance documentation. The number of subjects used is 2 documents. The results of this study indicate that the study of the first and second subject documents of subjective data on subjects only experienced difficult problems for coughing and excessive sputum was thrown, the subjects had decreased consciousness. Nursing diagnoses formulated in the first and second subject documents only explain the problem of nursing without formulating a nursing diagnosis that is ineffective airway clearance The planned intervention in the document for the first and second subjects is a suction technique using standard operating procedures (SPO) contained in hospitals Mangusada Badung. Implementation performed on the first and second subjects has been performed in accordance with planned intervention that is to provide suction technique. The results of the evaluation are obtained in the first and second subject documents using the SOAP technique. The results showed some differences with the theory that has been submitted by researchers both from assessment to nursing evaluation.
