Abstract
Dental health or now commonly referred to as oral health is the welfare of the oral cavity, including teeth and structures and their supporting tissues, dental health needs to be reviewed from the aspects of the environment, knowledge, education, awareness and handling of health, such as dental and oral health condition of periodontal tissue. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of knowledge about dental health and the description of periodontal tissue (CPITN) in bank employees at LPD Guwang Village, Sukawati District, Gianyar Regency in 2018. This research was a descriptive study obtained using questionnaires and direct examination in June 2018. The result of the research on 30 respondents in LPD of Guwang Village showed most of the respondents have knowledge level with very good criteria of 70%. Based on the results of direct examination of the condition of periodontal tissue in the most respondents were shallow pockets by 50%, then tartar 43.3% and periodontal bleeding conditions 6.7% and there were no respondents with deep pockets. From the research results can be made conclusions from 30 respondents 70% of respondents have a level of knowledge about dental health with very good criteria and 50% of respondents have a condition of deep pocket periodontal tissue.
