Abstract
LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE AND DENTAL HEALTH MOUTH AND DESCRIPTION OF OHI-S ON THE TEENAGERS SEKAA TERUNA INDRIYA NIRGRAHA (Study Implemented at Banjar Anggarkasih Medahan Village Blahbatuh District Gianyar Regency Periods 2018) ABSTRACT Knowledge about oral health is very important given in the early of age. The effort to improve oral health and mouth, especially in teenagers need special attention because the teenagers are undergoing the process of growth and development. The purpose of this study has to determine the knowledge level of dental health and mounth of teenagers Sekaa Teruna Indriya Nirgraha in June 2018. Types of data collected in this study is a type of primary data and secunder data. This research is descriptive. The total study population included 83 people. The results of the level of knowledge of oral health in both categories were 20,4% (17 people), the category being counted 63,9% (53 people) and bad categories as 15,7% (13 orang). The average level of knowledge is 62,04 with the medium category. Modus of level knowledge is the value 70 .Percentage of OHI-S with good criteria as much as 18,1 % (15 people), the criteria were as many as 71,1% (59 people), poor criteria as many 10,8% ( 9 people) and the average OHI-S is 1,93 with the criteria medium. There are level of knowledge about oral health in middle category, modus of level knowledge is 70 and the description of OHI-S on teenagers Sekaa Teruna Indriya Nirgraha in the middle criteria.
