Abstract
ABSTRACT Comprehensive midwifery care standards of pregnancy to postnatal is one of the efforts to decrease morbidity and mortality rate. The purpose of this research is to find out the result of midwifery care for Mrs. “E” from third trimester of pregnancy to postpartum and newborns according to the standards. The method in determining the cases is conducted by interview, examinations, observation and documentation. Midwife rearing is given from March until April 2020. The development of maternal pregnancy “E” runs physiologically. Uncomplicated vaginal delivery mothers. The first time lasted for 4 hours, at second time 10 minutes, at third time is 5 minutes and monitoring in stage IV within normal limits. The baby born at 09.40 a.m., cry, active movements, with reddish skin and weight 2500 grams. During the process of uterine involution, lochea, lactation, and psychological expulsion takes place within normal limits. Midwife rearing is given to infants in accordance with essential neonatal care. The developmental and growth of the baby runs physiologically. It can be concluded that midwifery care of mother “E” from third trimester of pregnancy until the postpartum has given in accordance with the standards.
