Abstract

DESCRIPTION OF NURSING CARE IN OSTEOARTHRITIS WITH CHRONIC PAIN IN THE WORKING AREA OF PUSKESMAS II DENPASAR BARAT IN 2020 ABSTRACT Age is the biggest factor to the occurrence of osteoarthritis. The incidence of osteoarthritis increases at 40 years of age, the prevalence of of 46.3% for women and 50 years of age amounted to 56.4% in males. Chronic pain can be experienced by patients of osteoarthritis if treatment is not done early. The purpose of the study is to describe the nursing care of osteoarthritis with the chronic pain in the working area of Public Health Unit II Denpasar Barat. Type of research is descriptive using a case study design and review journal. The research method used is documentation. The subject used is 2 clients with chronic pain. Data review journal covering assessment to evaluation. On review journal interventions will be carried out during the 5x of the visit that teach clients the techniques of nonpharmacological boreh ginger as much as 100 gr in 1x for 20 minutes to reduce pain. The implementation has been done during the 5x of the visit that teach clients the techniques of nonpharmacological boreh ginger as much as 100 gr in 1x for 20 minutes to reduce pain. The conclusion of the administration of boreh ginger as much as 100 gr can lower the pain in the client 1 and client 2. Proven on the client 1 which is the original pain on a scale 4 to scale 2 and the client 2 that initially the pain on a scale 3 to scale 1. The advice so the client is able to perform the technique boreh ginger as much as 100 gr for reducing the pain of osteoarthritis. Keywords: Osteoarthritis, chronic pain, Nursing process GAMBARAN ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN OSTEOARTHRITIS DENGAN NYERI KRONIS DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS II DENPASAR BARAT TAHUN 2020 ABSTRAK Usia merupakan faktor terbesar terjadinya osteoarthritis. Insidensi osteoarthritis meningkat pada usia 40 tahun prevalensinya sebesar 46,3% untuk perempuan dan usia 50 tahun sebesar 56,4% pada laki-laki. Nyeri kronis dapat dialami pasien osteoarthritis apabila pengobatan tidak dilakukan secara dini. Tujuan penelitian adalah mendeskripsikan asuhan keperawatan osteoarthritis dengan nyeri kronis di wilayah kerja Puskesmas II Denpasar Barat. Jenis penelitian yakni deskriptif dengan menggunakan rancangan studi kasus dan review jurnal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yakni dokumentasi. Subjek yang digunakan adalah 2 klien dengan nyeri kronis. Data review jurnal meliputi pengkajian sampai evaluasi. Pada lieteratur review jurnal intervensi akan dilakukan selama 5x kunjungan yakni ajarkan klien teknik nonfarmakologi boreh jahe sebanyak 100 gr dalam 1x selama 20 menit untuk mengurangi nyeri. Implementasi dilakukan selama 5x kunjungan yakni dengan mengajarkan klien teknik nonfarmakologi boreh jahe sebanyak 100 gr dalam 1x selama 20 menit untuk mengurangi nyeri. Kesimpulan dari pemberian boreh jahe sebanyak 100 gr dapat menurukan nyeri pada klien 1 dan klien 2. Terbukti pada klien 1 yang semula nyeri pada skala 4 menjadi skala 2 dan klien 2 yang semula nyeri pada skala 3 menjadi skala 1. Saran agar klien mampu melakukan teknik boreh jahe sebanyak 100 gr untuk mengurangi nyeri osteoarthritis. Kata kunci: Osteoarthritis, nyeri kronis, Proses keperawatan
