Abstract

DESCRIPTION OF THE HOUSEHOLD HEAD’S KNOWLEDGE LEVEL ON HOME SANITATION ON THE INCIDENCES OF PULMONARY TB CASES IN LODTUNDUH VILLAGE, OF UBUD DISTRICT YEAR 2018 ABSTRACT Unhealthy homes are the cause of low levels of physical and mental health, which can cause illness and decrease a person's productive power. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of knowledge of the head of the household about home sanitation in the case of pulmonary TB cases in Lodtunduh Village. The research method used is descriptive analytic research and uses a cross sectional approach. The study was conducted in Lodtunduh Village, Ubud District, Gianyar Regency, Bali Province of Indonesia with a sample of 94 family heads. The means used for data collection in research is by interview using questionnaire and observation. The result of the research of head of household knowledge about house sanitation in case of Pulmonary TB is still low, 49 of 94 head of household have not finished high school with percentage 62,83%, 72 from 94 head of family work as laborer or farmer whose income only to fulfill requirement everyday and less likely to achieve higher needs such as home education and sanitation. Hopefully that the government in this case to the competent health workers can facilitate the community to gain knowledge by giving health education on a regular basis and to evaluate the home sanitation and the incidence of cases of pulmonary tuberculosis. Keywords: Knowledge, Household Head, House Sanitation vi GAMBARAN TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN KEPALA KELUARGA TENTANG SANITASI RUMAH PADA KEJADIAN KASUS TB PARU DI DESA LODTUNDUH KECAMATAN UBUD TAHUN 2018 ABSTRAK Rumah tidak sehat merupakan penyebab rendahnya tingkat kesehatan fisik dan mental, yang dapat menyebabkan penyakit dan menurunkan daya produktif seseorang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan kepala keluarga tentang sanitasi rumah pada kejadian kasus TB paru di Desa Lodtunduh. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif analitik dan menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional. Penelitian dilakukan di Desa Lodtunduh Kecamatan Ubud Kabupaten Gianyar Propinsi Bali Indonesia dengan sampel 94 kepala keluarga. Sarana yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data dalam penelitian adalah dengan wawancara menggunakan kuisioner dan observasi. Hasil penelitian tingkat pengetahuan kepala keluarga tentang sanitasi rumah pada kejadian kasus TB Paru masih rendah, 49 dari 94 kepala keluarga belum menyelesaikan sekolah menengah atas dengan persentase 62,83 %, 72 dari 94 kepala keluarga bekerja sebagai buruh atau petani yang penghasilannya hanya untuk memenuhi kebutuhan sehari-hari dan kurang mungkin untuk mencapai kebutuhan yang lebih tinggi seperti pendidikan dan sanitasi rumah. Diharapkan kepada pihak pemerintah dalam hal ini kepada tenaga kesehatan yang berkompeten dapat menfasilitasi masyarakat agar mendapatkan ilmu dengan member penyuluhan kesehatan secara berkala dan melakukan evaluasi tentang sanitasi rumah dan kejadian kasus TB Paru.
