Abstract
THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE AREA OF VENTILATION WITH THE INCIDENCE OF UPPER RESPIRATORY INFECTION ABSTRACT URI is a major health problem in the world, where many occur in developing countries. Air vents play an important role in preventing URI. When the air ventilation is not good it will cause air circulation is not smooth and the room temperature is not appropriate. If the room temperature is not appropriate it will cause direct heat radiation to the body, or loss of body heat due to cold air. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between ventilation area and the incidence of upper respiratory tract infections (URI). Based on the search found 13 journals that match this study. Journal of research results using critical appraisal. The results found that there is a relationship between ventilation area and URI. But there are also studies that have found that there is no relationship between ventilation area and URI. This can be due to the researchers taking measurements of the overall ventilation area of the house regardless of whether the existing ventilation is routinely opened or not, so the ventilation area obtained is less specific.
