Abstract
Pulmonary tuberculosis is an infectious disease caused by the microbe named Mycrobacterium tubercolosis. Indonesia is one of the countries with the highest of tuberculosis sufferers, that was 10% of all sufferers in the world. The condition of the house and surrounding such as the presence or of ultraviolet, good ventilation, humidity, house temperatures, and the density of the house was one of the factors that take a part in the spread of tuberculosis germs. This study was to determine the relationship of physical sanitation in the house which included measurements of lighting, humidity, temperature, ventilation and density with the sufferers of pulmonary tuberculosis in Terunyan Village by using quantitative descriptive research methods and case control design. The results of the study using the Chi-Square test were obtained by Asymp. Sig (2-sided) of 0,000 <0.05 as an alpha. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between physical sanitation in the house with pulmonary tuberculosis sufferers in Terunyan Village, Kintamani District, Bangli Regency in 2020. As for good suggestions, especially for ventilation, it must be open every day, especially in the morning, to carry out the application of cough ethics and to review the health research methods related to the environment and try to find other variables.
