Abstract

Diabetes mellitus adalah suatu penyakit, dimana tubuh penderita tidak bisa secara otomatis mengendalikan tingkat gula (glukosa) dalam darahnya. Penyakit diabetes mellitus mengalami peningktan setiap tahunnya. Tingkat konsumsi pasien sangat erat kaitannya dengan kadar glukosa darah penderita diabetes mellitus. Penelitian mengenai gambaran tingkat konsumsi karbohidrat, lemak, serat, dan kadar glukosa darah penderita diabetes mellitus rawat jalan di RSUD Klungkung dilakukan di Poliklinik Penyakit Dalam RSUD Klungkung. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu penelitian observasional dengan rancangan cross sectional dan teknik purposive. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatahui gambaran tingkat konsumsi karbohidrat, lemak, serat, dan kadar glukosa darah penderita diabetes mellitus rawat jalan di RSUD Klungkung. Berdasarkan data tingkat konsumsi karbohidrat penderita proporsi terbanyak adalah yang memilki tingkat konsumsi karbohidrat lebih (40,9%), tingkat konsumsi lemak yang tergolong lebih (56,8%), tingkat konsumsi serat yang rendah (84,1%) dan kadar glukosa darah yang tinggi (72,7%). Sampel dengan kadar glukosa darah berdasarkan tingkat konsumsi karbohidrat lebih sebesar 43,2%, Sampel dengan kadar glukosa darah berdasarkan tingkat konsumsi lemak lebih sebesar 52,3%, dan sampel dengan kadar glukosa darah berdasarkan tingkat konsumsi serat kurang sebesar 84,1%. Kata kunci : Tingkat konsumsi, kadar glukosa darah, diabetes mellitus Diabetes mellitus is a disease, where the patient's body cannot automatically control the level of sugar (glucose) in his blood. Diabetes mellitus is increasing every year. This is a health problem that needs to be taken seriously. Research on the description of the level of consumption of carbohydrates, fats, fiber, and blood glucose levels in patients with diabetes mellitus outpatient in Klungkung General Hospital was conducted at the Internal Medicine Polyclinic in Klungkung General Hospital. The type of research conducted was observational research with cross sectional design and purposive techniques . This study aims to determine the description of the level of consumption of carbohydrates, fats, fiber, and blood glucose levels in patients with diabetes mellitus outpatient in Klungkung General Hospital. Based on the data on the level of carbohydrate consumption of the sufferers the highest proportion is those who have more levels of carbohydrate consumption (40.9%), higher levels of fat consumption (56.8%), low fiber consumption level (84.1%) and high blood glucose levels (72.7%). Samples with blood glucose levels based on the level of carbohydrate consumption were more than 43.2%, Samples with blood glucose levels based on the level of fat consumption were more than 52.3%, and samples with blood glucose levels based on levels of fiber consumption were less than 84.1%.
