Abstract

THE EFFECT OF DELAYED BLOOD TESTS ON PLATELET RESULTS ABSTARCT Platelet examination to calculate the number of platelets present in every 1 ml of blood. Delayed examination of blood can be one of the factors that affect the count of platelet count. The purpose of this study to determine the effect of time delay blood tests on platelet levels with the type of research Eksperiment (Posstest Only Control Group Design), 27 samples were selected by Simple Random Sampling from the total population at the students of Health Analysis Department of Poltekkes Denpasar. platelet were counted with the Hematology Analyzer XP 100 with method impedance.The highest average platelet count was found in group A (examination less than one hour) of 267.2 × 103 / μL and the lowest average was found in group C (examination after one hour delay) of 253 × 103 / μL. Group B (examination after one hour delay) reduction the average platelet count by 2.43% from group A. Group C (examination after two hour delay) reduction the average platelet count by 5.31% from group A and 2.95% reduction to group B. Based on Kruskal Wallis test conducted, obtained p value = 0.758 which showed no significant difference to the results of platelets with examination less than one hour, one hour delay and two hours delay. Keyword : delay time, platelet, hemostasis PENGARUH PENUNDAAN PEMERIKSAAN DARAH TERHADAP KADAR TROMBOSIT ABSTRAK Pemeriksaan trombosit bertujuan untuk menghitung jumlah trombosit yang ada pada tiap 1 ml darah. Penundaan pemeriksaan pada darah dapat menjadi salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi hitung jumlah trombosit. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh penundaan waktu pemeriksaan darah terhadap kadar trombosit dengan jenis penelitian Eksperiment (Posstest Only Control Group Design), 27 sampel dipilih secara Simple Random Sampling dari total populasi pada mahasiswa Jurusan Analis Kesehatan Poltekkes Denpasar. Kadar trombosit sampel diperiksa dengan alat. Rata-rata jumlah trombosit tertinggi ditemukan pada kelompok (pemeriksaan segera) yaitu sebesar 267,2 �~ 103/ƒÊL dan terendah ditemukan pada kelompok (pemeriksaan penundaan dua jam) yaitu sebesar 253 �~ 103/ƒÊL. Kelompok (pemeriksaan penundaan satu jam) mengalami penurunan rata-rata jumlah trombosit sebesar 2,43% dari kelompok A. Kelompok C mengalami penurunan rata-rata jumlah trombosit sebesar 5,31% dari kelompok A dan mengalami penurunan rata-rata jumlah trombosit sebesar 2,95% dari kelompok B. Berdasarkan uji Kruskal Wallis yang dilakukan, diperoleh nilai p=0,758 yang menunjukkan tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap hasil trombosit dengan perlakuan pemeriksaan segera, penundaan satu jam dan penundaan dua jam.
