Abstract
THE CORRELATION OF THE ATTITUDES AND BEHAVIOUR OF THE HOUSEWIVES WITH THE PRESENCE OF AEDES SP LARVAE IN SESETAN ADMINISTRATIVE VILLAGE SOUTH DENPASAR SUBDISRICT IN 2018 ABSTRACT Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever is a disease caused by dengue virus infection which is still a public health problem. Transmission of DHF diseases among humans mainly through Aedes Sp vector. The presence of larvae is an indicator of the presence of mosquito populations in the region. The most appropriate effort to combat Aedes Sp mosquitoes includes community behavior itself which consists of the attitude and behavior of the community with the presence of Aedes Sp larvae in Sesetan administrative village. This research type is analytic research with cross sectional motode.The Samples in this research are 100 housewives respondents selected by systematic random sampling. The data are collected using questioner and analyzed by chi square statistic test then conducted coefficient contingency calculation. Based on the results of chi square test, there is a relationship of attitude with the presence of Aedes Sp larvae. has a low relationship and there is a relationship of behavior with the presence of Aedes Sp larvae . has a low relationship too. The conclusion of this research is there is relationship between the attitude and behaviour of housewife with the presence of Aedes Sp larvae.
