Abstract

ABSTRACT The maternal mortality rate in Indonesia is still very high. One of the factors causing high MMR in Indonesia is a pregnancy disorder. One complication of pregnancy is anemia. Mothers with anemia will experience a decrease in cardiac output which results in decreased blood volume to the placenta. Decreased blood flow to the placenta can result in reduced transfer of nutrients to the fetus, if that happens it can result in disruption of fetal growth which risks causing low birth weight of babies born. This study aims to determine the relationship of anemia in maternity with birth weight in Wangaya Hospital in 2019. The type of research used is "correlational analytic" with a cross sectional approach. The sample of this study was anemic mothers who gave birth in Wangaya Hospital in 2019 using a sampling technique that was purposive sampling and obtained 108 samples analyzed using the Spearman Rank test with results (value) p = 0,000 (p value ≤ 0.05 and correlation coefficient (r ) = 0.742 The results of the study concluded that there was an association of anemia in pregnancies with birth weight, the lower the mother's Hb, the lower the LBW of the baby born.The results of the study are expected to be input to health workers to disseminate information to reduce the number with anemia Keywords: Childbirth, Pregnancy Anemia, Birth Weight ABSTRAK Angka kematian ibu di Indonesia masih sangatlah tinggi. Salah satu faktor penyebab tingginya AKI di Indonesia adalah gangguan kehamilan. Salah satu komplikasi kehamilan yaitu anemia. Ibu dengan anemia akan mengalami penurunan curah jantung yang mengakibatkan menurunnya volume darah ke plasenta. Penurunan aliran darah ke plasenta dapat mengakibatkan transfer zat gizi ke janin berkurang, jika itu terjadi maka dapat mengakibatkan terganggunya pertumbuhan janin yang berisiko menyebabkan terjadinya rendahnya berat lahir bayi dilahirkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan anemia pada ibu bersalin dengan berat badan lahir di RSUD Wangaya tahun 2019. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah “analitik korelasional” dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel penelitian adalah ibu anemia yang bersalin di RSUD Wangaya tahun 2019 dengan menggunakan teknik sampling yaitu purposive sampling dan didapatkan 108 sampel yang dianalisis menggunakan uji Spearman Rank dengan hasil (value) p = 0,000 p value ≤ 0,05 dan koefisien korelasi (r) = 0,742. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan anemia pada kehamilan dengan berat badan lahir, semakin rendah Hb ibu maka akan semakin rendah pula BBL bayi yang dilahirkan. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat menjadi masukan kepada petugas kesehatan untuk melakukan sosialisasi agar dapat mengurangi jumlah ibu dengan anemia Kata kunci : ibu bersalin, anemia, berat badan lahir
