Abstract

NURSING CARE FOR INEFFECTIVE AIRWAY CLEARANCE WITH DIAPHRAGMATIC THERAPYBREATHING EXERCISE IN CHILDRPNEUMONIA IN THE BARATHA ROOM DHARMA YADNYA HOSPITAL ABSTRACT Pneumonia is one of the leading causes of mortality in children, often accompanied by ineffective airway clearance problems due to the accumulation of secretions. Appropriate nursing management is needed to address this condition, one of which is through diaphragmatic breathing exercise therapy. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of nursing care for ineffective airway clearance with diaphragmatic breathing exercise therapy in children with pneumonia in the Baratha Room at RSU Dharma Yadnya. The method uses a case study design with a nursing care approach for pediatric patients diagnosed with pneumonia. The research subjects are children experiencing ineffective airway clearance. The interventions provided include diaphragmatic breathing exercise therapy conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation. The study results showed improvement in airway clearance after the administration of diaphragmatic breathing exercise therapy, indicated by The decrease in cough frequency, reduction in secretion production, as well as an improvement in a more effective breathing pattern. In addition, the child appears more comfortable and fresher. The conclusion of this study is that diaphragm breathing exercise therapy can be an effective intervention in improving airway clearance in children with pneumonia. It is recommended for nurses to integrate this therapy into nursing practice as an effort to improve the quality of children's health services. Keywords: Pneumonia, Ineffective Airway Clearance, Diaphragmatic Breathing Exercises ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN BERSIHAN JALAN NAFAS TIDAK EFEKTIF DENGAN TERAPI DIAGFRAGMATIC BREATHING EXERCISE PADA ANAK PNEUMONIA DI RUANG BARATHA RSU DHARMA YADNYA ABSTRAK Pneumonia merupakan salah satu penyebab utama mortalitas pada anak, yang sering disertai dengan masalah bersihan jalan nafas tidak efektif akibat akumulasi sekret. Penatalaksanaan keperawatan yang tepat diperlukan untuk mengatasi kondisi tersebut, salah satunya melalui terapi diagfragma breathing exercise. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui afektivitas asuhan keperawatan bersihan jalan nafas tidak efektif dengan terapi diagfragma breathing exercise pada anak pneumonia di Ruang Baratha RSU Dharma Yadnya. Metode menggunakan desain deskriptif pendekantan studi kasus asuhan keperawatan pada pasien anak dengan diagnosis pneumonia. Subjek penelitian adalah anak yang mengalami gangguan bersihan jalan nafas tidak efektif. Intervensi yang di berikan meliputi terapi diagfragma breathing exercise yang dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya perbaikan bersihan jalan nafas setelah pemberian terapi diagfragma breathing exercise, yang ditandai dengan berkurangnya freukensi batuk, munurunkna produksi sekret, serta peningkatan pola nafas yang lebih efektif. Selain itu, anak tampak lebih nyaman dan lebih fresh. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terapi diagfragma breathing exercise dapat menjadi intervensi yang efektif dalam meningkatkan bersihan jalan nafas pada anak dengan pneumonia. Disarankan bagi perawat untuk mengintegrasikan terapi nini dalam praktik keperawatan sebagai upaya meningkatkan kualitas kesehatan anak.
