Abstract
PERBEDAAN TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN REMAJA PUTRI TENTANG TINDAKAN SADARI SEBELUM DAN SESUDAH DIBERIKAN PENYULUHAN Penyuluhan di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 2 Jembrana Desa Yeh Sumbul ABSTRAK Kanker payudara masih menjadi masalah kesehatan serius akibat tingginya angka kejadian dan kematian, sehingga deteksi dini melalui pemeriksaan payudara sendiri (SADARI) sangat diperlukan. Sayangnya, pengetahuan remaja putri tentang SADARI masih rendah karena minimnya edukasi kesehatan reproduksi, belum adanya penyuluhan rutin, serta kurangnya fasilitas pendukung pembelajaran kesehatan di MAN 2 Jembrana, yang berisiko memperlambat deteksi dini kanker payudara pada usia remaja. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui perbedaan tingkat pengetahuan remaja putri tentang SADARI sebelum dan sesudah penyuluhan di MAN 2 Jembrana, Desa Yeh Sumbul. Menggunakan desain pra-eksperimental one group pretest-posttest dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, sebanyak 48 responden dipilih dari 156 siswa melalui purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan lewat kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test (α = 0,05). Hasil menunjukkan seluruh responden (100%) berpengetahuan rendah sebelum penyuluhan (median 20). Setelah penyuluhan, 45 responden (93,75%) mencapai kategori baik dan 3 responden (6,25%) kategori cukup, dengan skor 70–100. Disimpulkan bahwa penyuluhan SADARI efektif meningkatkan pengetahuan remaja putri, sehingga edukasi kesehatan reproduksi ini perlu dilakukan secara rutin sebagai upaya preventif dan promotif. Kata Kunci : SADARI, Penyuluhan Kesehatan, Pengetahuan, Remaja Putri, Kanker Payudara DIFFERENCES IN THE LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE OF ADOLESCENT GIRLS REGARDING BREAST SELF-EXAMINATION (BSE) BEFORE AND AFTER HEALTH Education At Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 2 Jembrana, Yeh Sumbul Village ABSTRACT Breast cancer remains a serious health problem due to its high incidence and mortality rates, making early detection through breast self-examination (BSE) essential. Unfortunately, adolescent girls' knowledge of BSE remains low due to inadequate reproductive health education, the absence of routine health counseling, and limited supporting facilities for health learning at MAN 2 Jembrana, which risks delaying early detection of breast cancer among adolescents. This study aims to determine the difference in adolescent girls' level of knowledge about BSE before and after health counseling at MAN 2 Jembrana, Yeh Sumbul Village. Using a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design with a quantitative approach, 48 respondents were selected from a population of 156 students through purposive sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test (α = 0.05). The results showed that all respondents (100%) had low knowledge before the counseling (median score of 20). After the counseling, 45 respondents (93.75%) achieved a good knowledge category and 3 respondents (6.25%) achieved a fair category, with scores ranging from 70 to 100. It is concluded that BSE health counseling is effective in improving adolescent girls' knowledge, and therefore this reproductive health education should be conducted routinely as a preventive and promotive effort.
