Abstract

MIDWIFERY CARE FOR A 26 YEAR OLD PRIMIGRAVIDA MOTHER "EY" FROM 15 WEEKS AND THREE DAY OF PREGNANCY UP TO 42 DAYS POSTBIRTH PERIOD ABSTRACT Comprehensive midwifery care according to standards from pregnancy to the postpartum period was one of the efforts to reduce MMR and IMR. These problems could be prevented by providing continuous care (Continuity of Care/COC). This report aimed to determine the outcomes of the care provided to mother “EY” from 15 weeks and 3 days of pregnancy until the postpartum period and newborn, in which standard midwifery care was given. The method used was a case study with data collection techniques through interviews, examinations, observations, and documentation. During the first trimester, mother “EY” had not undergone laboratory examinations, which could have increased the risk of difficulty in early detection of possible pregnancy complications. The delivery process occurred physiologically without complications, and labor pain was managed using the effleurage massage method. The baby was born spontaneously, female, cried immediately, and had a birth weight of 3500 grams. During the postpartum period, lochia, uterine fundal height reduction, and maternal lactation occurred physiologically, and complementary care in the form of lactation massage was provided. The development of the neonate until 42 days of age occurred physiologically, and complementary care in the form of baby massage was also provided. The baby was born spontaneously, female, cried immediately, and had a birth weight of 3500 grams. Based on the results obtained, it was concluded that the midwifery care provided to mother “EY” proceeded physiologically. It was expected that pregnant women would gain experience from the care provided and could apply comprehensive and continuous midwifery care in subsequent pregnancies. Peran bidan sangat penting untuk mengidentifikasi dan mencegah komplikasi tersebut melalui asuhan yang berkesinambungan. Permasalahan tersebut dapat dicegah dengan memberikan asuhan berkelanjutan (Continuity of Care/COC). Laporan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil asuhan yang diberikan pada ibu “EY” dari kehamilan 15 minggu 3 hari hingga masa nifas dan bayi baru lahir yang diberikan asuhan kebidanan sesuai standar. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kasus dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, pemeriksaan, observasi serta dokumentasi. Pada kehamilan trimester I ibu “EY” belum melakukan pemeriksaan laboratorium, hal ini dapat berisiko sulitnya deteksi dini terhadap kemungkinan komplikasi pada kehamilan. Persalinan ibu berlangsung fisiologis tanpa adanya komplikasi, nyeri persalinan diatasi dengan metode massage effleurage. Bayi lahir spontan, perempuan, segera menangis dan berat badan lahir 3500 gr. Pada masa nifas lochea, penurunan tinggi fundus uteri dan laktasi ibu berlangsung secara fisiologis dan diberikan asuhan komplementer pijat laktasi. Perkembangan neonatus hingga bayi berumur 42 hari berlangsung secara fisiologis diberikan asuhan komplementer pijat bayi. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh disimpulkan asuhan kebidanan pada ibu “EY” berlangsung secara fisiologis. Diharapkan ibu hamil mendapatkan pengalaman dari asuhan yang diberikan serta dapat menerapkan asuhan kebidanan secara komprehensif dan berkesinambungan pada kehamilan berikutnya.
