Abstract

Maintaining dental health is very important to prevent diseases in the mouth, therefore dental and oral hygiene must be maintained. The general objective of this study was to find out the description of the level of dental and oral hygiene in students of class IV, V, and VI SDN 3 Bangli Friends in 2019. This study was a descriptive study with survey design. Respondents in this study were all students of class IV, V, and VI SD Negeri 3 Kawan Bangli, totaling 98 people. The results of this study indicate that as many as 91 people (92.9%) had good OHI-S criteria, 7 people (7.1%) with moderate OHI-S criteria and none had bad OHI-S criteria. The average OHI-S value is 0.50 (good criteria). The conclusions of this study are that most of the grade IV, V, and VI students at SD Negeri 3 Kawan Bangli have dental and oral hygiene with good criteria.
