Abstract
ABSTRACT Skill is greatly affect a person in brushing their teeth. Therefore it must be done correctly. Generally children are not able to brush their teeth properly. This study aims to determine the teeth brushing skilla before and after dental and oral health counseling for students in the 4 Penarungan elementary school in Mengwi district Badung Regency in 2019. The method of research conducted in elementary school 4 Penarungan is descriptive research. The number of respondents in this study was 44 students. The results of research on tooth brushing skills before being given dental and oral health counseling with criteria needing guidance 45,45% while after being given counseling increased with very good criteria 75,00% Based on this research, it can be concluded that before being given counseling on dental and oral health for students of elemtary school 4 Penarungan most students brush their teeth skills need guidance and after being given counseling on dental and oral health most students brush their teeth very well.
