Abstract

The issue of nutritional status is one of the most frequent problems in Indonesia. While the nutritional problem has not been overcome, overweight problems have arisen in the community. Nutritional problems are caused by many factors ranging from lifestyle, physical factors, food availability, consumption patterns to infectious diseases. Nutritional status is the health status generated by the balance between consumption and absorption of nutrients as indicated by body weight and height. The purpose of this research is to know contribution of energy and protein of school snack food to energy and protein consumption with nutritional status of school children in SD N 1 Penebel. The Average of Energy consumption level from 63 samples in SD N 1 Penebel 189,35% with highest consumption rate 154,85% and 34,81% of direct access. Average Protein consumption level from 63 samples in SD N 1 Penebel 91.25%, highest protein consumption level 199,73% and lowest 36,50%. Based on the results of Pearson correlation test analysis obtained significancy value of 0.01, so the value of p <0.05 and Ho rejected, which means there is a relationship between total energy consumption with nutritional status in SD N 1 Penebel Keywords: contribution of energy and potein, street food, nutritional status
