Abstract

OLD RELATIONSHIP SUFFER DIABETES MELITUS TYPE 2 WITH HYPERTENSION INCIDENCE IN UPTD PUSKESMAS DAWAN 1 KLUNGKUNG IN 2023 ABSTRACT Type 2 diabetes is a chronic disease caused by a body that is unable to use insulin effectively. Uncontrolled blood sugar levels type 2 diabetes can trigger a variety of complicationssuch as macroangiopati the complications of large blood vessels that affect blood pressure changes. Hypertension is the main risk factor for Diabetes Mellitus, on the other hand, type 2 DM is very complex, hypertension can make cells insensitive to insulin. The longer a person suffers from type 2 diabetes mellitus can cause an increase in blood glucose which results in damage to blood vessels. Efforts to overcome Type 2 DM are to educate health promotion. The purpose of this study was to determine the old relationships suffer diabetes melitus type 2 with hypertension. The type of research used is correlational analytic withapproach cross sectional. The number of samples in this study were 79 people using purposive sampling. The statis- tical test used Spearman Rank. The test results showed that 57 respondents (72.2%) had diabetes for > 5 years and had severe hypertension by 42 respondents (53.2%). The results of the Spearman Rank test showed that there was a significant correlation between the duration of type 2 DM and the incidence of hypertension (p = 0.000) with a correlation coefficient of 0.491. Routine checks need to be done to prevent more severe DM complications. Keywords: type 2 diabetes mellitus ; long suffering ; hypertension HUBUNGAN LAMA MENDERITA DIABETES MELITUS TIPE 2 DENGAN TEKANAN DARAH DI UPTD PUSKESMAS DAWAN 1 KLUNGKUNG TAHUN 2023 ABSTRAK Diabetes melitus tipe 2 merupakan penyakit kronis yang disebabkan oleh tubuh tidak mampu menggunakan insulin secara efektif. Kadar gula darah yang tidak terkontrol dapat memicu berbagai komplikasi pada penderita DM tipe 2, salah satunya terjadi makroangiopati yaitu komplikasi pada pembuluh darah besar sehingga mempengaruhi perubahan tekanan darah. Hipertensi merupakan faktor risiko utama untuk terjadinya Diabetes Melitus, hubungannya dengan DM tipe 2 sangatlah kompleks, hipertensi dapat membuat sel tidak sensitif terhadap insulin. Semakin lama seseorang mengalami diabetes melitus tipe 2 dapat menyebabkan peningkatan glukosa dalam darah yang menyebabkan kerusakan pada pembuluh darah. Upaya untuk mencegah DM tipe 2 adalah pPenelitian ini berusaha untuk memastikan hubungan antara prevalensi hipertensi dan durasi diabetes tipe 2. Analisis korelasi cross-sectional adalah metode penelitian yang digunakan. Kuantitas tes dalam konsentrat ini sangat banyak 79 orang dengan menggunakan Teknik purposive sampling. Uji statistik menggunakan Spearman Rank. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan lama menderita DM ≥ 5 tahun sebanyak 57 responden (72,2%) dan hipertensi berat sebanyak 42 responden (53,2%). Hasil uji Spearman Rank menunjukkan terdapat korelasi yang signifikan antara hubungan lama menderita diabetes melitus tipe 2 dengan kejadian hipertensi (p = 0.000) dengan koefisien nilai korelasi adalah 0,491. Pemeriksaan secara rutin perlu dilakukan untuk mencegah komplikasi DM yang lebih berat. Kata kunci : DM tipe 2 ; Lama menderita ; Hipertensi
