Abstract
DESCRIPTION OF HEMOGLOBIN LEVELS IN ELECTRIC SMOKERS IN BANJAR JEROKUTA JIMBARAN, CUSTOMARY VILLAGE, SOUTH KUTA, BADUNG ABSTRACT Background: An electric smoker is someone who uses a device that is capable of producing nicotine in the form of vapor using battery power, but does not burn tobacco like ordinary cigarettes. Hemoglobin is a tetrametric protein in red blood cells that transports oxygen to the tissues and returns carbon dioxide and protons to the lungs. Objective: to determine the description of hemoglobin levels in electric smokers. Method: this research is a descriptive study conducted in January-May 2023 at the Jerokuta Banjar, Jimbaran Traditional Village. The data used in this study is primary data, namely by examining hemoglobin levels in the banjar. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling technique (total sampling) so that a total sample of 50 respondents was obtained. Data processing was carried out by means of the results of the examination of hemoglobin levels recorded, processed, and presented in tabular form, accompanied by a descriptive explanation. Results: From the research that has been done, it was found that out of the 50 respondents who smoked electricity, most of them had normal hemoglobin levels, namely 48 people (96%). Conclusion: the majority of electric smokers have normal hemoglobin levels in the age range at most, namely 18-24 years (90%) with a volume of liquid consumption of 3-4 ml (64%) Keywords: hemoglobin, electric smokers GAMBARAN KADAR HEMOGLOBIN PADA PEROKOK ELEKTRIK DI BANJAR JEROKUTA, DESA ADAT JIMBARAN, KUTA SELATAN, BADUNG ABSTRAK Latar Belakang : Perokok elektrik merupakan seseorang yang menggunakan sebuah perangkat alat yang mampu menghasilkan nikotin dalam bentuk uap dengan menggunakan tenaga baterai, namun tidak membakar tembakau seperti rokok biasa. Hemoglobin adalah suatu protein tetrametrik dalam eritrosit yang mengangkut oksigen ke jaringan dan mengembalikan karbondioksida dan proton ke paru. Tujuan : untuk mengetahui gambaran kadar hemoglobin pada perokok elektrik. Metode : penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif yang dilakukan pada bulan Januari-Mei 2023 di Banjar Jerokuta Desa Adat Jimbaran. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer yaitu dengan cara pemeriksaan kadar hemoglobin yang dilakukan di banjar. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah teknik sampling jenuh (total sampling) sehingga didapatkan jumlah sampel sebanyak 50 responden. Pengolaan data dilakukan dengan cara data hasil pemeriksaan kadar hemoglobin dicatat, diolah, dan disajikan dalam bentuk tabel selanjutnya disertai penjelasan secara deskriptif. Hasil : dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan didapat hasil bahwa dari 50 responden perokok elektrik sebagian besar memiliki kadar hemoglobin normal yaitu 48 orang (96%). Kesimpulan : mayoritas perokok elektrik memiliki kadar hemoglobin normal berada di rentang usia paling banyak yaitu 18-24 tahun (90%) dengan volume konsumsi liquid 3-4 ml (64%) Kata kunci : hemoglobin, perokok elektrik
