Abstract

viii DESCRIPTION OF URIC ACID LEVELS IN ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE DRINKERS IN PEMECUTAN KLOD VILLAGE, WEST DENPASAR DISTRICT ABSTRACT Background : Alcohol is an addictive liquid. The addictive nature of alcohol is the nature of a person's addiction or dependence on this substance. Someone who uses alcohol has a range of responses that fluctuate from mild to severe conditions. Arthritis Gout is inflammation of the joints due to increased levels of uric acid in the blood, due to disruption of purine metabolism (hyperuricemia) in the body which is characterized by joint pain, which can interfere with the patient's activities. Increased levels of uric acid can be influenced by age, duration of consuming alcoholic beverages, frequency of consuming alcoholic beverages, types of alcoholic beverages, and the amount of consuming alcoholic beverages. Purpose : to determine uric acid levels in alcoholic beverage drinkers in Pemecutan Klod Village, West Denpasar District. Methods : This research is a type of descriptive research with a case study design. The data collected were 44 subjects, namely alcoholic beverage drinkers during January-April. Samples were examined using the POCT or rapid test method. Results : in this study, drinkers of alcoholic beverages with normal uric acid levels were 36% and high uric acid levels were 64%. >5 years by 2%, the frequency of consuming alcoholic beverages was dominated by the group ≥ 3 times a week by 61%, types of alcoholic drinks were dominated by the palm wine group by 57%, and the amount of consuming alcoholic beverages was dominated by the group > 3 glasses a day by 93%. Conclusion : Increased uric acid levels occur in the elderly age group (46 years and over), duration of consuming alcoholic beverages, frequency of consuming alcoholic beverages, types of alcoholic beverages and the amount of consuming alcoholic beverages. Keywords: Uric acid, alcohol ix GAMBARAN KADAR ASAM URAT PADA PEMINUM MINUMAN BERALKOHOL DI DESA PEMECUTAN KLOD, KECAMATAN DENPASAR BARAT ABSTRAK Latar belakang : Alkohol merupakan cairan yang bersifat adiktif. Sifat adiktif alkohol adalah sifat ketagihan atau ketergantungan seseorang terhadap zat ini. Seseorang yang menggunakan alkohol memiliki rentang respon yang berfluktuasi dari kondisi ringan hingga berat. Arthritis Gout merupakan peradangan pada sendi akibat peningkatan kadar asam urat dalam darah, karena terganggunya metabolisme purin (hiperurisemia) dalam tubuh yang ditandai dengan nyeri sendi, sehingga dapat mengganggu aktifitas penderita. Peningkatan kadar asam urat dapat dipengaruhi oleh faktor usia, lamanya mengoonsumsi minuman beralkohol, frekuensi mengonsumsi minuman beralkohol, jenis minuman beralkohol, dan jumlah mengonsumsi minuman beralkohol. Tujuan : untuk mengetahui kadar asam urat pada peminum minuman beralkohol di Desa Pemecutan Klod, Kecamatan Denpasar Barat. Metode : Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan desain studi kasus. Data yang dikumpulkan adalah 44 subjek yaitu peminum minuman beralkohol selama bulan Januari-April. Sampel diperiksa dengan metode POCT atau rapid test. Hasil : dalam penelitian ini bahwa peminum minuman beralkohol dengan kadar asam urat normal sebesar 36% dan kadar asam urat tinggi sebesar 64%.. Kadar asam urat tinggi lebih didominasi pada kelompok umur 46 tahun keatas sebesar 50%, lamanya mengonsumsi minuman beralkohol didominasi pada kelompok >5 tahun sebesar 2%, frekuensi mengonsumsi minuman beralkohol didominasi pada kelompok ≥ 3 kali seminggu sebesar 61%, jenis minuman beralkohol didominasi pada kelompok tuak sebesar 57%, dan jumlah mengonsumsi minuman beralkohol didominasi pada kelompok ≥ 3 gelas dalam sehari sebesar 93%. Simpulan : Peningkatan kadar asam urat terjadi pda kelompok usia lansia (46 tahun keatas), lamanya mengonsumsi minuman beralkohol , frekuensi mengonsumsi minuman beralkohol, enis minuman beralkohol dan jumlah mengonsumsi minuman beralkohol.
