Abstract
DESCRIPTION OF URIC ACID LEVELS IN HYPERTENSION PATIENTS AT TABANAN HOSPITAL ABSTRACT Background: Hypertension can increase uric acid resulting in hyperuricemia. If hyperuricemia is left too long it can cause kidney disease and gout. Objective: Knowing the description of uric acid levels in the blood in patients with hypertension. Methods: This type of research was descriptive, conducted at the Tabanan General Hospital in February-April 2023. The population consisted of hypertension sufferers. Using formulas Slovin obtained a sample size of 38 people, taken using the technique accidental sampling. Examination of uric acid levels using blood serum specimens, with tools Chemistry Analyzer. Data analysis uses descriptive analysis. Results: Of the 38 respondents, teenagers (5,3%), adults (15,8%), elderly (78,9%). Gender female (52,6%), male (47,4%). Have a family history of gout (28,9%), no family history (71,1%). As many as 57,9% of respondents had uric acid levels in the normal category and 42,1% in the highcategory. The majority of high uric acid levels are experienced by the elderly (46,7%), male sex (61,1%) and have a family history (55,6%). Conclusion: That 42,1% of hypertensive patients have high uric acid levels. High uric acid levels are more common in the elderly (46,7%), male (61,1%) and have a family history of gout (55,6%). Keywords: hypertension, uric acid GAMBARAN KADAR ASAM URAT PADA PENDERITA HIPERTENSI DI RSUD TABANAN ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Hipertensi dapat meningkatkan asam urat sehingga terjadi hiperurisemia. Bila hiperurisemia dibiarkan terlalu lama dapat menyebabkan penyakit ginjal dan gout. Tujuan: Mengetahui gambaran kadar asam urat dalam darah pada penderita hipertensi. Metode: Jenis penelitian deskriptif, dilakukan di RSUD Tabanan pada bulan Pebruari-April 2023. Sebagai populasi adalah penderita hipertensi. Menggunakan rumus Slovin didapatkan besar sampel 38 orang, yang diambil menggunakan teknik accidental sampling. Pemeriksaan kadar asam urat menggunakan spesimen serum darah, dengan alat Chemistry Analyzer. Analisis data meggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil: Dari 38 responden didapatkan remaja (5,3%), dewasa (15,8%), lansia (78,9%). Jenis kelamin perempuan (52,6%), laki-laki (47,4%). Memiliki riwayat keluarga asam urat (28,9%), tidak memiliki riwayat keluarga (71,1%). Sebanyak 57,9% responden memiliki kadar asam urat dengan kategori normal dan 42,1% kategori tinggi. Kadar asam urat tinggi mayoritas dialami oleh lansia (42,7%), jenis kelamin laki-laki (61,1%) dan memiliki riwayat keluarga (55,6%). Simpulan: Bahwa 42,1% penderita hipertensi memiliki kadar asam urat tinggi. Kadar asam urat tinggi lebih banyak diderita oleh lansia (46,7%), jenis kelamin laki-laki (61,1%) dan memiliki riwayat keluarga menderita asam urat (55,6%). Kata kunci : hipertensi, asam urat
