Abstract
DESCRIPTION OF HEMOGLOBIN LEVELS IN STUDENTS OF SMPN 1 DAWAN DISTRICT OF DAWAN DISTRICT OF KLUNGKUNG ABSTRACT Hemoglobin is a protein that functions to bind iron (Fe) as the main component in red blood cells, with the aim of transporting oxygen (O2) and carbon dioxide (CO2) and gives blood its red color. Students are one of the early adolescent groups who are prone to anemia, and female students need more iron (Fe), because young women lose a lot of blood during menstruation. and where during menstruation they will be at risk of anemia. For young women who are still at school, iron deficiency causes decreased concentration in learning and irritability. This study aims to determine the description of hemoglobin levels in female students at SMPN 1 Dawan, Dawan District, Klungkung Regency. This type of research is descriptive research. This research was conducted by examining hemoglobin levels using the POCT method, using the random sampling method simple random sampling and filling in the breakfast habit questionnaire and consumption habits fast food in 47 female students. The results of this study showed that 1 female student (4.0%) had a low hemoglobin level and was obedient in having breakfast, there were 2 female students (9.1%) who had a low hemoglobin level and were disobedient in having breakfast. Then 2 female students (66.6) had low hemoglobin levels with consuming habitsfast food, there is 1 female student (2.3%) has low hemoglobin and does not consume fast food. The conclusion of the hemoglobin examination was that most of the students had normal hemoglobin as many as 44 students (93.6%), there were 3 students (6.4%) in the low hemoglobin category, based on breakfast habits, namely 2 students (9.1%) had low hemoglobin and disobedient to do breakfast as well as on female students with consumption habits fast food namely 2 female students (6.66%) had low hemoglobin with consumption habits fast food. Keywords : Hemoglobin, Young Women, Anemia GAMBARAN KADAR HEMOGLOBIN PADA SISWI SMPN 1 DAWAN KECAMATAN DAWAN KABUPATEN KLUNGKUNG ABSTRAK Hemoglobin adalah protein yang berfungsi mengikat zat besi (Fe) sebagai komponen utama dalam sel darah merah, dengan tujuan mengangkut oksigen (O2) dan karbon dioksida (CO2) serta memberikan warna merah pada darah. Siswa salah satu kelompok remaja awal yang rentan mengalami kejadian anemia, serta pada siswi lebih banyak mebutuhkan zat besi (Fe), karena pada remaja putri kehilangan banyak darah saat terjadinya menstruasi, dan di mana pada saat menstruasi ini mereka akan beresiko terkena anemia. Bagi remaja putri yang masih sekolah kekurangan zat besi menimbulkan menurunnya konsentrasi belajar dan mudah tersinggung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran kadar hemoglobin pada siswi SMPN 1 Dawan Kecamatan Dawan Kabupaten Klungkung. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pemeriksaan kadar hemoglobin metode POCT, dengan metode pegambilan sampel secara simple random sampling dan pengisian quesioner kebiasaan sarapan pagi dan kebiasan konsumsi fast food pada 47 siswi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan 1 siswi (4,0%) memiliki kadar hemoglobin rendah dan patuh melakukan sarapan pagi, terdapat 2 siswi (9,1%) yang memiliki kadar hemoglobin rendah dan tidak patuh melakukan sarapan pagi. Kemudian 2 siswi (66,6) memiliki kadar hemoglobin rendah dengan kebiasaan mengkonsumsi fast food, terdapat 1 siswi (2,3%) memiliki hemoglobin rendah dan tidak mengkonsumsi makanan cepat saji. Kesimpulan pada pemeriksaan hemoglobin sebagian besar memiliki hemoglobin normal sebanyak 44 siswi (93,6%), terdapat 3 siswi (6,4%) dengan kategori hemoglobin rendah, berdasarkan kebiasaan sarapan pagi yaitu 2 siswi (9,1%) memiliki hemoglobin rendah dan tidak patuh melakukan sarapan pagi serta pada siswi dengan kebiasaan mengkonsumsi fast food yaitu 2 siswi (6,66%) memiliki hemoglobin rendah dengan kebiasaan konsumsi fast food.
