Abstract
THE DESCRIPTION OF URIC ACID IN LIMITED COMPANY ARSA BUANA MANUNGGAL DRIVERS KARANGASEM DISTRICT ON 2023 ABSTRACT Uric acid is the end result of breaking down a substance called purine. Purine substance is a natural substance which one of the chemical structure groups is the formation of DNA and RNA. Uric acid can be influenced by several factors such as age, long sitting while driving, consumption of alcoholic beverages, and consumption of foods high in purines. The aim of this study was to determine uric acid levels in PT.ABM drivers. The study sample consisted of 45 people selected by random sampling using the POCT method with the Autoclick Easy Touch GCU tool. The results showed normal uric acid levels in 32 people (71.1%) and high uric acid levels in 13 people (28.9%). High uric acid levels were more common at the age of 43-51 years in 5 people (45.5%), duration of sitting while driving was dominated by driving duration for ≥ 7 hours/day in 10 people (29.4%), while drivers 11 people (34.4%) consumed alcoholic beverages and 25 people (55.6%) consumed high-purine foods. The conclusion of this study is that high uric acid levels occur in respondents aged 43-51 years, driving for ≥ 7 hours/day, consuming alcoholic beverages and consuming foods high in purines. Keywords: Uric acid, Driver, POCT method GAMBARAN KADAR ASAM URAT PADA SOPIR DI PERSEROAN TERBATAS ARSA BUANA MANUNGGAL DI KABUPATEN KARANGASEM TAHUN 2023 ABSTRAK Asam urat merupakan hasil akhir dari pemecahan suatu zat yang bernama purin. Zat purin merupakan zat alami yang salah satu kelompok struktur kimiaanya adalah pembentuk DNA dan RNA. Asam urat dapat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor seperti usia, lama duduk saat mengemudi, konsumsi minuman alkohol, dan konsumsi makanan tinggi purin. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui kadar asam urat pada sopir PT.ABM. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 45 orang yang dipilih secara random sampling menggunakan metode POCT dengan alat Autoclick Easy Touch GCU. Hasil penelitian menunjukan kadar asam urat yang normal sebanyak 32 orang (71,1%) dan kadar asam urat yang tinggi sebanyak 13 orang (28,9%). Kadar asam urat yang tinggi lebih banyak berada pada usia 43-51 tahun sebanyak 5 orang (45,5%), lama duduk saat mengemudi didominasi pada lama mengemudi selama ≥ 7 jam/hari sebanyak 10 orang (29,4%), sedangkan sopir yang mengonsumsi minuman alkohol sebanyak 11 orang (34,4%) dan konsumsi makanan tinggi purin sebanyak 25 orang (55,6%). Kesimpulan penelitian bahwa kadar asam urat tinggi terjadi pada responden usia 43-51 tahun, dengan lama mengemudi selama ≥ 7 jam/hari, konsumsi minuman alkohol dan konsumsi makanan tinggi purin.
