Abstract
DESCRIPTION OF CALCIUM OXALATE CRYSTAL LEVELS OF URINE SEDIMENT AMONG BUS DRIVER RESTU MULYA IN DENPASAR CITY ABSTRACT Background: Bus driver Restu Mulya in Denpasar City works for more than 8 hours per day. Most bus drivers rarely drink water, often hold urine, sit long while working and also often complain of back pain. This condition can trigger calcium oxalate crystals to be hit by the bus driver. Purpose: to determine the levels of calcium oxalate crystal in Restu Mulya bus drivers in Denpasar City. Method: this was descriptive study which is carried out from October – April 2023. This study conducted on 30 respondents obtained by saturated sampling techniques. Crital calcium oxalate levels were checked using microscope leica DM 500. Results: showed that out of 30 respondents there were 60.0% had high levels of calcium oxalate crystals. High crystal calcium oxalanya levels were more common at the age of 18-40 years old and 41-65 years old had the same number as many as 70.0% of respondents. Drinking Habits / Day (L) of the most respondents is the category of less (< 1.5 L per day) as many as 57.0% of respondents. The habit of holding back urination of respondents amounted to 60.0% of respondents. Sitting while working, most respondents as much as 87.0% have a long frequency of sitting > 8 hours / day. Conclusion. Thus, the description of calcium oxlate crystal levels in Restu Mulya bus drivers in Denpasar City mostly has high calcium oxalate crystal levels, namely (60.0%) Keywords: Urine sediment; calcium oxalate crystals, bus driver GAMBARAN KADAR KRISTAL KALSIUM OKSALAT SEDIMEN URINE SOPIR BUS RESTU MULYA DI KOTA DENPASAR ABSTRAK Latar Belakang. Sopir bus Restu Mulya di Kota Denpasar berkerja selama lebih dari 8 jam perhari. Sebagain besar sopir bus jarang minum air, sering menahan air kencing, lama duduk saat berkerja dan juga sering mengeluh sakit pinggang. Kondisi tersebut dapat memicu terjadinya kristal kalsium oksalat terhardap sopir bus. Tujuan. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran kadar kristal kalsium oksalat pada sopir bus Restu Mulya di Kota Denpasar. Metode. Jenis penelitian yang di gunakan adalah deskritif yang dilakukan dari bulan Oktober – April 2023. Jumlah sopir bus di restu mulya adalah 30 orang, dalam penelitian ini responden yang digunakan sebanyak 30 orang yang diperoleh dengan teknik sampling jenuh. Kadar krital kalsium oksalat di periksa dengan menggunkan mikroskopis leica dm 500. Hasil. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dari 30 responden terdapat 60.0% memiliki kadar kristal kalsium oksalat yang tinggi. Kadar keristal kalsium oksalanya tinggi lebih banyak ditemukan pada umur 18-40 dan 41-65 memiliki jumlah yang sama sebanyak 70,0% responden. Kebiasaan Minum / Hari (L) responden yang paling banyak yaitu kategori kurang (< 1,5 L perhari) sebanyak 57.0 % responden. Kebiasaan menahan buang air kecil responden berjumlah 60.0% responden. Lama duduk saat bekerja sebagian besar responden sebanyak 87.0% memiliki frekuensi lama duduk > 8 jam /hari. Kesimpulan. Dengan demikian Gambaran kadar kristal kalsium okslat pada sopir bus Restu Mulya di Kota Denpasar sebagaian besar memiliki kadar kristal kalsium oksalat yang tinggi yaitu (60,0%).
