Abstract

DESCRIPTION OF NUTRITIONAL STATUS IN PULMONARY TUBERCULOSIS PATIENTS IN BULELENG HOSPITAL IN 2023 ABSTRACT Pulmonary tuberculosis is an infectious disease that attacks the lung parenchyma caused by the bacterium Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Factors that influence pulmonary tuberculosis infection is poor nutritional status. This study aims to describe the nutritional status of pulmonary tuberculosis patients at Buleleng Hospital in 2023. This type of research is a descriptive study with a quantitative approach that searches secondary data on patient medical records. This study measured nutritional status using BMI, which looked for weight and height data in patients. Sampling using probability sampling technique with purposive sampling method. The sample used was 58 people who met the inclusive and exclusion criteria. Based on the results of the research characteristics, the number of respondents was 58 people, indicating that the majority had normal nutritional status of 30 people (51.7%), thin nutritional status of 26 people (44.8%), obese nutritional status of 2 people (3.4%), the nutritional status of the majority of respondents were male, 38 people (65.5%), the majority aged 46-55 years, 16 people (29.3%), based on the gender of the respondents who had normal nutritional status, the majority were male, 21 people ( 36.2%) %), based on the age of the respondents who had normal nutritional status, the majority were aged 46-55 years, a total of 10 people (17.2%). Based on this, it can be a concern especially for nurses in increasing attention related to nutritional status in pulmonary tuberculosis patients. GAMBARAN STATUS GIZI PADA PASIEN TUBERKULOSIS PARU DI RSUD BULELENG TAHUN 2023 ABSTRAK Tuberkulosis paru merupakan penyakit infeksi yang menyerang parenkim paru-paru yang disebabkan oleh bakteri Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Faktor yang mempengaruhi infeksi tuberkulosis paru antara lain status gizi yang buruk. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran status gizi pada pasien tuberkulosis paru di RSUD buleleng tahun 2023. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif yang melakukan penelusuran data sekunder pada rekam medik pasien. Pada penelitian ini melakukan status gizi diukur dengan menggunakan IMT yang memberikan informasi tentang data berat badan dan tinggi badan pada pasien. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik probability sampling dengan metode simple random sampling. Sampel yang digunakan adalah 58 orang yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian jumlah responden 58 orang,menunjukkan mayoritas memiliki status gizi normal sebanyak 30 orang (51,7%), status gizi kurus 26 (44,8%), status gizi gemuk sebanyak 2 orang (3,4%), karakteristik responden mayoritas laki-laki sebanyak 38 orang (65,5%), mayoritas umur 46-55 tahun sebanyak 16 orang(29,3%), berdasarkan jenis kelamin responden yang memiliki status gizi normal mayoritas laki-laki sebanyak 21 orang(36,2%), berdasarkan umur responden yang memiliki status gizi normal mayoritas pada umur 46-55 tahun sejumlah 10 orang(17,2%). Berdasarkan hal ini dapat menjadi perhatian terutama bagi perawat dalam meningkatkan perhatian terkait status gizi pada pasien tuberkulosis paru. Kata kunci : Tuberkulosis Paru,Status Gizi, IMT.
