Abstract
Hemoglobin is an iron-containing protein in red blood cells that serves as a carrier of oxygen from the lungs throughout the body. The impact that can be caused by the influence of CO gas on human health. Carbon monoxide can cause acquired abnormalities in heme synthesis which causes microcytes. The purpose of this research is to know the description of hemoglopin level on satay trader. The type of the research was descriptive, with sample size 33 people taken with saturated sampling technique. The result of the research shows that most of the respondents are in the age group 46-54, which is 30%, the length of work is between 15-30 years as much as 46%, and the duration of exposure is 6-10 hours / day by 30%. Sate traders who have normal hemoglobin level of 22 people (67%) and have a low hemoglobin level of 33%. Based on the age group in the age range 46-54 years had low hemoglobin level with the amount of 15%. Based on 16-30 years old church service has the lowest low hemoglobin level of 18%, duration of exposure to smoke 6-10 hours / day shows the lowest normal hemoglobin level is 27%. The conclusion is sate traders who have low hemoglobin level as much as 33%. Suggestions given so that sate traders use personal protective equipment (masks), eating foods containing iron (Fe), folic acid, and vitamin B12. Keywords: Smoke, Carbon Monoxide, Sate Traders. Hemoglobin adalah protein yang mengandung zat besi di dalam sel darah merah berfungsi sebagai pengangkut oksigen dari paru-paru ke seluruh tubuh. Dampak yang dapat ditimbulkan akibat pengaruh gas CO terhadap kesehatan manusia. Karbon monoksida dapat menyebabkan kelainan didapat pada sintesis heme yang menyebabkan mikrositik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran kadar hemoglopin pada pedagang sate. Jenis penelitian adalah deskriptif, dengan jumlah sampel 33 orang diambil dengan teknik sampling jenuh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagian besar responden ada pada kelompok usia 46-54 yaitu sebanyak 30%, lama bekerja antara15-30 tahun sebanyak 46%, dan lama terpapar asap 6-10 jam/hari sebanyak 30%. Pedagang sate yang memiliki kadar hemoglobin normal sebanyak 22 orang (67%) dan memiliki kadar hemoglobin rendah yaitu sebanyak 33%. Berdasarkan kelompok usia pada rentang usia 46-54 tahun memiliki kadar hemoglobin rendah dengan jumlah 15%. Berdasarkan lama bekerja 16-30 tahun memiliki kadar hemoglobin rendah terbanyak yaitu 18%, lama terpapar asap 6-10 jam/hari menunjukkan kadar hemoglobin dibawah normal terbanyak yaitu yaitu 27%. Kesimpulannya adalah pedagang sate yang memiliki kadar hemoglobin rendah sebanyak 33%. Saran yang diberikan agar pedagang sate memakai alat pelindung diri (masker), mengonsumsi makanan yang mengandung zat besi (Fe), asam folat, dan vitamin B12.
